Rural Sintra

After our initial presentation, we get on track to Sintra’s rural area towards Colares, along the famous and centenary tram line. You will have the opportunity to see the simplicity of our typical villages, and as proof of this, we will visit one of the oldest Wine Cellar in the country to get to know a little of Portugal’s winemaking traditions, which remain intact from the ancient times to the present days and where you can optionally carry out a Wine Tasting (Not available on Sundays).

Sintra’s Coast

We follow the coast line to our next stop – one of our greatest prides – considered the “Santorini of Portugal” a small white painted village located right on top of the cliff facing the clashing waves of the Atlantic ocean a breath-taking view considered one of the prettiest beaches in Europe .

This is not the only beach that we are going to show you so get ready, as there will be a parade of the most beautiful beaches on our coast or, as we dare to say , of our country! And the best part: as we are getting there ahead of the crowds, we are lucky enough to enjoy the vast ocean views avoiding instead the vast “oceans of people”.

As the sea breeze whets your appetite, we will recommend the best traditional restaurants* in the interior of Sintra, where you will be delighted by our local Portuguese dishes and regional wine, in a picturesque village full of history, on the top of the mountain.

* all group members must agree, If not there are obviously alternatives so everyone is happy!

Cabo da Roca

Your visit to Sintra won’t be complete without getting to the most wester point of continental Europe! It’s ours, and it’s unique, the incomparable Cabo da Roca, where the land ends giving its place to the ocean.

Pena Palace

Crossing Sintra’s natural park – we can’t let you leave without visiting our most iconic fairytale Palace – Palacio da Pena – where you will play the role of ancient kings and queens and see this incredible work of art.

The Final Decision

We know that the day is already long and that it’s time to say goodbye but before that you have one last decision to make. Where would you like to be dropped off? We can leave you back at Sintra Train Station, so you can leave and rest from our full day of explorations OR drop you off at the Historical Center with a bunch of tips and recommendations including a ticket to Quinta da Regaleira (purchased directly with us – you will not need to get in line) if there is still some strength left in you for visiting this stunning property!
